Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

YES, YOU GOT RIPPED OFF; AND I CAN'T BLAME YOU FOR SHOUTING ABOUT IT!

I once played chess with someone who refused to let me move my knight because its path was blocked by another piece.
Conclusion: don’t play games with people so thick they can’t even understand the rules.*
*Unless it’s on-line where rules are enforced by a 3rd party. Then you can bust them.

"they" said you lost?
You mean more than one person said you lost that hand? That is BS. It was not an accident my friend, they are out to cheat you. I don't think they are being "thick" I think they were being dishonest. I cannot imagine more than one person at the table could be so ignorant of the rules as to think you lost the hand.
Muck, the rule you describe sounds like Chinese Chess. Was your opponent Chinese? :D

You overestimate people. Look at the huge number of "Who Wins" posts in the rest of the "Beginner's Questions" forum and tell me if you still believe that.

No Annie both English (...and 8 years old).
No offense but how old are you DNA? I played in a penny game of poker at school once but left when a more popular kid refused to give up the pot because he thought his 4 card flush beat my pair.

I second that motion. With the startling lack of intelligence by much of our nation's youth (of which I am a not-so-proud-member), things like these seem to happen on an almost daily basis.
