Good players recommend keeping records, (not just wins & losses, but variance, in order to distinguish short term fluctuations from long term results). A bit too much to ask for most beginners, or casual players.
A new, free, online tool has been launched from the boys at the Hendon Mob, to help you.
Check it out at http://www.thehendonmob.com/MyPokerDiary/
You can use this to calculate your long term win (or loss) rate, together with how much you vary from this each session.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Yes, I have found great so far. Of course I have been winning recently and once I start losing I will blame on the hendon mob's tracker! Just kidding of course
If you play poker you NEED to use some device to keep track of your records. Paper and pen works fine, but sites like this are just so cool
