European Poker Tour Chips |

Anyone know what the European Poker Tour Chips are made from? They sound like chipcos but sort of look like they could be clay. Anyways, I really love the look of those chips! The colours are great and so are the edgespots from what I've seen.. Speaking of which, does anyone have any good pictures of these chips? I'd really like to get a closer look at these,
wondering also if anyone has ever sold or replicated them? Anyone else like the look of these chips?
Actually, upon closer inspection, I think they are chipco as the edge spots are not lining up...

They would appear to be ceramics.

The most difficult detail to reproduce would probably be the "mold" that is printed on them....the edgespots appear to be simple 1/2" spots and the colors scheme looks rather standard. And they are great looking...if only the edgespots would line up! That's the only thing I hate about the ceramics...

I'm gonna find out if it's possible to get a good reproduction through pokerchips.com
I really would like it better if the edge spots lined up as well, and maybe the feel of a clay chip would be a plus too...

I actually considered a set using the DG Yellow for edgespots on blue, red (the normal red, which looks kind of maroon), green, black, lavender and yellow.....but then got unsure because of all the pictures posted of ASMs with different coloured edgespots.....kind of a chip-overload...you will, however, not get the right size inlay....

They're either ChipCOs or B&Gs. I'm sure ChipCO could make something very much like 'em (obviously not exactly).

Hi everybody,
I love these chips very much as well. I live in Belgium and I managed to watch on TV all the events of the EPT Season 1 and although at first I didn't like the look of those chips, they grew on me the more I watch the show and now I love the way they look.
BTW User, if you managed to find a way to replicate the chips, please keep me posted and I might very well be interested in a set.

Is it the design of these specific chips that you all like? Or is it the concept of having a ceramic that looks like a traditional clay? Personally, it is the latter.

It's kind of both,
for the biggest thing is the colours, the edge spots, then the fact that they are ceramics that look like a clay style chip, for me it's the best of both worlds as I like the feel of clay and ceramic equally (in different ways mind you).

It's not Chipco as all of Chipcos' edgespots don't line up. B&G's edgespots line up but not perfect just like the ones pictured.
I don't see Chipco doing too much business in Europe as B&G practically dominates all of the business there.

You may be right about those edgespots, but I still think those chips may be B&G instead of Chipco.
Unless I get some chips to look closely, I can't tell you for sure 100%.
