Harrah's in AC Tornaments

Posted Wed Apr 13, 2005 2:08 pm GMT by darthsikle
I have played tournaments in all of the card rooms in AC and I must say that Harrah's has the best structure of any place. A non rushed tourny. They host them upstairs in the ballroom so as to not interfere with the regular cardroom.

for the $250 + $30 tourney I entered, you started off with $2,000 chips and blinds were 25-25. HOWEVER, each round was 45 minutes. It was great!!!!!

They have another one on Friday, 04/15/05 at 7:00 pm for $150 + $25 and another on Saturday, 04/30/05 at Noon for $500 + $60. I'll definately be at 04/30/05 one and maybe the 04/15/05 one.

That a bit different than the experience I had. I played at the WSOP satellite they had a couple months ago. They were upstairs but it was very unorganized. Also I hate the fact that it was $200 +$25 and you got $200 as your starting chips. The initial blinds were $5/10 and people could rebuy and addon for a very long time. Seemed to me to totally take away skill and reward crazy/rich players.

Just my take.

I was there then also. They have really gotten their act together since then. That WSOP experience was just disgusting.
