straight 2 nofoldem where most stay to the river.. i have pocket 10's preflop 8 players go to $6
flop comes 9  , 10 , 8 , i raised, was reraised TWICE, bet ended up at $6 for everyone to go to the next round...
turn is 7 
i bet, was reraised TWICE AGAIN, and.. FOLDED, when it was just $4 to call
river was a 9 
i folded a full house.. all the raisers where on draws that MISSED.. this was a table where practically every hand that i had seen was MADE on the river there was a flush possibility, straight possibilty, even a straight flush possible.. was i correct in folding top pair in the face of all this? was i just too scared? should i have made it $8? after this hand my game just fell apart and was in no mind set to continue..

No offense, but stupid play in general on the turn. There's four connectors on the board, and you get into a raising war without the straight, then fold with excellent pot odds (you're on a full house draw here). If you have 4+ others in the hand that won't fold you would have the bet odds to cap it. But with several others in the hand you have to figure someone has the straight.

no offense taken, i just made a bad play, evryone does at one point.. it was a costly lesson: THINK POT ODDS!! but hey its a serious defect in my game.. you live, you learn..
