Hi,
There is one thing I hate when I play poker with friends it timing the blinds. I always have to check on my watch and it always end up like “Oh guy, good new, blinds were supposed to go up 30 mins ago” and for multi-table tournament, it was just hell. This is why I made a poker tournament manager software and I feel to share it freely. It is very useful to me now and I guess it might be for others.
The software, which I call "Home Poker Tournament", coded in PHP, has (I believe) all the basic function required to manage a tournament. To create a tournament, you can set the tournament’s name, the small blind, big blind and ante values for every blinds level, the player seating time and of course, the blinds change time.
Once a tournament has been created, it’s ready to be monitored. The tournament can be started (if not started already), paused or restarted. When the time comes to 00:00:00, a sound saying “Attention, blinds are now going up” is played so everyone knows it’s time to change blinds. Finally, it’s possible to monitor the same tournament from 2 or more computer (used for big big games) and the 2 screens will be synchronised.
And now for the down side. I’m sure you’ve already noticed, but my spelling is not quite perfect (I use to speak French), and, being alone to code this program, I had to translate it myself so the spelling and grammar may …. suck.. Furthermore, I only tested it with Internet Explorer so it might be bugged with FireFox or Netscape.
Here’s the demo link(you need Javascript and Cookies enabled) :

Here’s the source code link (under GNU/GPL licence) :

If anyone’s interested in using it, tell me and I’ll add a post which will explain how to install and configure it because you need an Apache web server with Php and MySql.
Well, thanks. I’d appreciate any comments or anything I can do to make it better.

Well, downloading the code actually is not very long (~200k) but you need an apache web server with php and mysql which are free. (Soon, I'll post the full installation instruction).

Very nice. The one thing I don't like is the fact that you can only create 12 blind levels. Other than that it is awesome.

Well, with a very little configuration, you can add more than 12 blind levels. Im currently working on doc and I'll show how you can add more than 12 blind levels.

If it's free... thanks for the program, I'm sure many will enjoy it.
If it costs more than 1c, then get the hell out of here spamming assclown.

Looks like a nice one. A version which doesn't need Apache, PHP, and MySQL installed would be good though... that's a lot of admin work for someone who just wants to have a poker tournament LOL.

I was thinking of trying to develop something myself in either ASP or C++ but I haven't given it a shot yet.
