Sadistically entertaining moment for me last night at the $3/$6 table at my local casino. I am dealt AA in the SB. It is one bet to me and I raise. BB reraises to $9, two people call the $9, I cap, everyone calls. 4 players to the flop. Two clubs and a rag (I don't have the A ), but I'm still looking ok. I lead off with a bet since the player in the BB was known to be aggressive and I figured he would raise. Unfortunately, he folded, and I got two callers. Turn comes another club with four to a straight now. I check for information, guy across the table bets, indicating he made his draw. Third guy folds, and I reluctantly call. Check the river, he bets, I call, he shows:
K 2
Wow... preflop cap, and he calls with K-rag-suited. I got my kicks later however when he was dealt KK, raised all the way, and someone outdrew him on a runner-runner straight, which was made all the sweeter because he flopped a set. "I can't believe someone called down my raises with that garbage!" he cried. I smiled to myself thinking, what goes around comes around, buddy.

lol.. thats one of the reasons i hate limit hold em.. you just cant get people off their draws.. and of course they hit.. in no limit you make a big bet.. and if they call it.. and hit their draw... they paid to get it

yeah people make bad calls in limit hold'em but i guess in limit they don't pay for them.

They still pay, it just takes longer. Limit's really a game of patience and VERY selective aggression.
