Okay, trying to give someone an example about having pot odds and calling during a poker discussion. In said discussion, we're talking about how nine outs on the flop is 36%, eight is roughly 32%..
Everyone knows exactly what those odds are referring to, right? Flush and up and down straight draws.
Anyway, I gave examples of what the odds of hitting your hand is with a straight flush draw, and one where you also have top pair.. etc.
I kept trying different combinations, but I could NOT come up with a situation where there are exactly 20 outs after the flop.
Can anyone describe a hand/flop that would bring exactly 20 outs? Maybe I'm just tired, but this is puzzling me.

Open-ended straight flush draw with two overs. I think that's 20 or 21.

Check the table at
http://www.texasholdem-poker.com/odds_chart.php
Click on any of the "X Outs" links in the table for an example.
The 20 outs example is you have 6 7
with a flop of 5 6 4
and lists the outs as "...You have all remaining nine clubs to make a flush or straight flush, the three non-spade Threes and three non-spade Eights to make a straight, the two Sixes left in the deck to make trips, and the three Sevens remaining to make two pair..."

Man you go broke very fast when you cant hit one of these draws. Ive missed 13 in my last 3 sessions. Not even long sessions But it stinks when you have all these outs so many times. O well ......
