Ok, we decided to play with 50 in chips, 12 people, top 3 get money.
Down to 4, im BB. Dealer folds, player folds, SB calls, I check with a 9, 7 offsuit.
The flop comes up, A, 10, 9
He bets minimum, he doesn't bet unless he has top pair, and his eyes darted to the ace and back a few times so I call the minimum with my 9's knowing he has the ace. The Turn gives me two pair 9's and 7's. He makes a decent sized bet and I go all in, he calls and shows ace 3. Two pair vs pair of aces.
The river, a 10 he wins the pot which essentialy gives him the tourney
I WAS SO RATTLED.

Wouldn't you be better off folding when you know you are losing, rather than call hoping for 1 of 5 cards to fall?

What are you saying?
He had 6 cards that could have came up, I had like 42.

He's talking about your call on the flop.

well I don't know why I did it, I had a gut feeling with my pair and for some reason I called the minimum bet. Sometimes going with your gut pays off.

...or hurt you real bad, like it did. He had 8 outs actually, 2-As, 3-3s, 3-10s.
You hate poker?? How can you say something bad about such a great game... *reminding the Homer Simpson and the gray 6-footer rotten sandwich episode*. I would rather hate the person who drew out on me than the game.
