hey guys i have a ? about what i read in here. i was reading about tilting i think i have this right... like last week i won about 4 hands in a row with no callers or few all good preflop hands then i got 2 k in the poket and thought here i go again free money but a guy across the table called my 5 dollor bet. when the flop was turned he raised to 10 flop was rainbow 3,10,7 i called him thinking he had q''s or a"s not even thinking of three of a kind i kept calling his 10 dollers every card losing to his 3 3"s i felt so stupid afterword but i was able to shake it off and still do well my next ? is was that what they mean buy tilt and my next ? is can you spot another player on tilt and take advantage of it and my final? is does it only happen to beginners?

calling with a raise to ur initial bet with a flop of 3-10-7 might have been a little passive, if u re-raised and he re-raised u mighta been able to put him on 2 pair or trips. tho with pocket kings its hard to let those go, gotta feel out the player. see what he plays with and how he bets when he has it. u need to clarify ur posts tho, 2 k sounds like K-2, not K-K (which i'm pretty sure u meant). re-raise the max pre-flop and dont be afraid to bet or re-raise the flop, if he's not the type of person to bluff, u could be in a check and call position unless an A hits the board or something.
