id say fold ... if this is something on PP or EP, id put him on AA ... a lot of people will only put up min raise with this hand cause they think it wins 100% of the time so they just want to build the pot

Think its a case of do u feel lucky, punk?
If he's got Aces your game is probably over, if not then u will probably double up. If the buy in won't kill u I would say take a chance. If he's got a hand like QQ (which he might) this hand could get you off to the perfect start.

I called. He was on KK, and I made a flush to put him out. ended up in 10th.

Ouch.. I feel sorry for the other guy. That's the worst way to lose.

Congrats on making the final table though.

I would have done the same, I have a hard time laying down KK because I have a strong feeling that he has AA. I think it is often even more likely in the beginning stages of an MTT that the guy has QQ, JJ, AK or hell, sometimes even AQ. At the final table, I think I'd lay them down though.

You've got the second best starting hand in the game. You've put in 1/3 of your stack and it's real early, meaning you haven't invested a lot of your time into it. I say go for it. If he's got aces, he's got aces.

Of course I probably wouldn't have limped either. :D

I was looking to limp/raise, and pick up the pot without seeing a flop. The only reason I called was because it wes so early, and if im out early, more time for beer, if I double up.... look out.

I didn't really do precise math, but lets see.. you're getting what, over 2 to 1 on the call? With KK?

Is it possible he pushes with a hand that's not AA or KK? If so, you've got a massively profitable call.

Salche: you would have to be ridiculously positive that your opponent had AA/KK to fold here. Given the circumstances, I'd say it's well beyond impossibly positive. The only way I'm folding to a player that I've only played 3 hands with is if he shows me both of his cards, and they both have the letter A up in the corner.
