Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Whenever the board pairs and they don't hit your hand for trips or possible fullhouse, you need to be very careful. It is doubtful that he would bet $63k on trip 9's so you must assume that he made the FH and lay down your straight. Other factors must come into play also, had this guy bluffed anyone out of a good hand earlier? What was his style, tight, maniac?? I know it is harder to do online, but you must be able to somewhate read the texture of the table you are at. The only other play you might have made was to make a decent sized bet at the turn, like triple the blinds and he may have come over the top of you then, an ego move, and then you could have safely assumed that he made his FH and lay down your hand with confidence. I have to admit, it would have been hard for anyone to lay down that hand.

Your real problem is cheating. You are a worthless piece garbage and I hate people like you. How can you just blow it off as no big deal...well I was cheating and knew my buddy had a 10. Are you for real???? I hope to God that you are just kidding.
I know others may cheat, perhaps even some regulars on this site, but to actually have the balls to admit it.
You are a disgrace.

Dave's correct.
I think I missed that comment in your statement. So you are in collusion at the poker room. Not a good way to start your poker career, I assume you are just a punk kid that does not know any better nor has any morals. Looks like justice was served when the FH took down your straight. Cheaters never prosper, lesson learned.

Corey, if I knew your user name I would shop you for cheating.
I actually got approached by another player on Paradise Poker asking me if I wanted to "team up" with him. I told him no way and I also told him that I was reporting the conversation to the site.
I have played loads of games on line with people I know personally and I have had hundreds of opportunities to cheat and never been even remotely tempted.
If I found out that somebody that I knew personally, even a very close friend, was cheating online I would shop them too.

It is interesting how I saw c0rey's same post on another forum later in the day but the cheating part was left out. Somebody called him on it there after seeing his post here.
C0rey replied on the other forum that he didn't mean to make it sound like he was cheating but this guy was just telling him his hands. He claims he is not a cheater. I don't quite buy into after rereading his post here.
I agree with the others-if I saw you were cheating online, I'd report you too.
C0rey-If you are just learning poker, you should consider this a good lesson and stop cheating and learn about how to play and use your skill and knowledge of the game to win. I wish you luck if you can do that. If not, you are a disgrace. :x
