I see they might use TenPercenters chip. I like that one better than the Buffalo.

You'd have to be braindead to choose these over the Pharoh's Club.

Good point. Besides, nobody has seen the other images yet, so at least give the guy a chance before you start bashing them.

I do not have have bad feelings over any of this, I just felt a little disoriented as to what the motive was behind tha comments on the Apache page (since removed). I like Josh, and I don't condone any bashing, or boycotts, or anything. I don't think he meant any harm, and I am giving him the benefit of the doubt.
People are talking about a "war" on other forums, that is just crazy. As far as the Pharos group buy goes, we're just a bunch of guys that want a great price on a great chip. That's all.

Isn't Pharaoh's Club & Casino redundant since a club is another name for a casino?
Only thing that bothers me about those chips.
For example I have many sets of Kem Club cards which were meant for casinos.
Doesn't sound right IMHO...I'm not buying them or anything either.
Resort & Casino? Spa & Casino?

I honestly don't feel that the words club and casino mean the same thing at all. Although this is a fantasy set, I've heard of many real casinos that are named " Xxxxx Club and Casino."

They posted the "Wild Bill Hickok" $100 chip. I think these first two designs look great!

Maybe:
Country Club (with a golf course?)
Gentleman's Club (live nudes!)
Bridge Club
Chess Club

Over 6,000 results.
Without much thought on the matter, "Club" has no gambling connotation, and Casino does.

These chips are great. Now I cant figure out which chips I would like more, the Pharoah's or these. Maybe I will buy a few from this design and a few Pharoahs.

Variety is a good thing! Besides, many just dont like the Egyptian theme. People shouldn't be so quick to crucify Apache/dice702.
I like the old western theme, but like most other on this board, am currently over budget for the next 10 years or so...

Sorry this is a bit off topic, but I was wondering with most group buys, do you pay retail price if you choose to purchase more later after going in on the initial pre-sale? I am just curious to know whether I need to buy them all at once or if I could purchase a bulk now and pick up more later. Thanks!

I didn't see said comments (schucks!) but what is "a vendor you can trust" supposed to imply? Who is it that we are not supposed to trust I wonder?

I'm trying to stay out of the discussions of it, but suffice it to say that there was no question who they meant once a photo of Pharaoh's Club chip was up. (he took it down after a while)

Yes, they will be retail price once the group buy ends, and will probably continue to be on sale at least for a little while (depending on how many retialers purchase). The retail price is completely up to the people that buy them to resell.
