Hi, I currently need a new strategy to use agains a calling station heads up when the station has the chip lead (without money involved.. yeah, maybe that's the problem).
I've tryed to play agressive, he calls, tryed to slow play and hit big at the end, he folds. Tryed to bet something like 2 times the minimum bet when I hit a pair on the board (most of the time top pair), if he has something he calls till the river and a lot of time (maybe i'm carrying some sort of bad luck) he hits 2 pairs on the river or 3 of a kind.
I'm not trying to bluff much because he calls alot and one or 2 big bluff attemp makes me ruined. Anyway, most of the time I end up losing because when I win money, I win small and when I lose, most of the time I lose a lot since I have no way to put the guy on a hand.
So, what should I do in these cases ?
Thanks

Against a passive player you can afford to wait out big hands and get free cards for draws. When you make a hand, push! Passive players are easy money (or chips) heads-up because you can control all the action.

I think you might be onto something here.

Check more - if he's passive, he'll let you dictate the pace. Wait until you make a hand on the flop, then make a little pissy bet on the turn and sting hard on the river.
