So, it happens to everybody, and that's how poker works, but isn't it frustrating when you catch cold cards?
I played for probably 5 odd hours tonight... and I can count the worthy starting hands I got dealt on one hand.
A10s twice, JJ once, KJo once, and AQo once.
Other than that, it was all either marginal, or rags (mostly.)
I console myself by taking comfort in the fact that I've only left 2 ring games since I started "seriously" playing down $, with plenty of net profit, but still, isn't it quite the pisser?
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

I've gone the past week with nothing but cold cards as well.
Don't worry. The law of average states that I we have to get that AA and KK in a row sooner or later.
