lost $150 in 1-3 limit. Only won two pots the whole night. These people played any and every hand so it was pretty tough. I mean crap like 8 3 offsuit against my KK when i raise max preflop. Oh well won $60 of it back in blackjack in 20 minutes.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

How does that work? Do you mean 3-6 limit with blinds of 1 and 3? Or is there some other format?

You'll never beat players like this. It's just impossible.

no he means 1-3 Limit
SB is 50Cents BB is a Doller
did the casino offer 3-6/4-8
hell even 2-4 probaly would of been a better bet to play when im in a mood to play limit i try never to play the Lowest Limit Offered
so at Foxwoods i try to play the 4-8 5-10 with a Kill over the 2-4

yeah they had 3-6. This was only my second time playing in a casino so 3-6 scared me off a little, but i will play that next time because at 1-3 there is no skill or anything involved, everyone sees every flop, turn, and river no matter what.

3/6 is probably not much of an improvement in skill level.

AB not a big one but its also alot less of a game of Chance.
since most Newbies play the 1-3/1-2/2-4 games.
over the 3-6/4-8/5-10 games.
also People are less willing to see a Caped pot when it costing them 12dollers instead of 4 dollers on the early rounds

Hahaha thats the stone for ya. Sorry about your beats but if you think those people are going to lay down anything, you have another thing coming. I maintain that the best game the stone has is the 10-20 game. With the exception of the friday night 300 min 5/10 NL game. 5-10 is OK if you find the right table. And 20-40 is a bunch of old 2-4 players with money. The people that can't stand both the 5-10 maniacs or the 2-4 players with money play 10-20. The news for you isn't good though, you will find the kind of play you experienced at their 3-6 tables and their 1-2 NL tables.
