Im shortstacked and haven't seen much of anything all night. I Get KJ and I decide I'm going to go all in. 1st after bb calls BB, and then another shortstacker goes all in, a couple fold, and another calls. I'm in last position so I'm starting to think I should just fold if two are already all in. Then again I have been bored with the cards I'd been getting so I call.
Flop doesn't give me any spades or a pair, or even a straight to hope for. Someone ended up pairing up a queen and taking it. I believe the other two hands were AQo and J10s.
If you were shortstacked in late position would you call an all in with two others on KJ ?

I could push with it in late position, but I would not call with it. Unless I'm desperate. Esp not with 2 people in the pot allready.

Probably not, but it depends. How many players were at the table, how big was your stack, and what were the blinds?

It depends on how short stacked you are. If you are down in the less than 5 BB territory, I think you have to call here even though your hand isn't strong, just because you are getting 2:1 on the call.
If you've got enough chips to last a few more rounds, I'd muck it and wait for something better. I'd rather go all in with 22 than KJ.

I don't know about that... the problem with 22 is that if you get called by 88 then you are pretty much dead. With KJ if you get called you generally hope to be up against a lower pocket pair or some other highcards. This will generally giev you at leats a 40% chance to win every time. Pocket 2s are a kille rmost of teh time. Geneally I don't even play 'em unless I can see a real cheap flop.
