Not strictly poker related but......... Im gonna be in Vegas baby! :D
My cousin just got engaged, as soon as i heard they were engaged i knew they would be getting married in Vegas, she loves Vegas and has always promised that's where she'll get married.
So !
August 2006!
From now until then every spare penny is a prisoner, i've agreed to give them a couple days but i'm hoping to be there for at least 10 days. (plenty of poker time :D )
So now i'm looking for a really really great deal on hotels.
Preferably the Bellagio, i am determined that at least 1 night will be a suite at the Bellagio, probably the last night just for me and the wife 8)
But apart from that i'm looking for a great deal on hotels, at the minimum for the 2 of us, if a group booking would get a better deal then we're talking probably about 30-40 people for at least a week.
Doesn't really matter where, obviously the better the better.
So come on Vegas experts......... hook me up with a great deal.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Awesome news dude, start getting excited! I'll invite you up to my penthouse while you are there after I win the 2006 WSOP and decide not to come back home

With that much time in advance and being in August, you should be able to get a good deal with your booking.
As far as hotels, Monte Carlo is very nice with rooms probably ranging from $79-$99 per night. Luxor and Treasure Island are also nice places reasonably priced. Stepping up, I've seen both The Venetian and Bellagio with room rates of $169 during certain parts of the year. There are also bargain priced hotels on The Strip like Excalibur and Circus Circus, but the rooms and casinos are old and worn out. If you're interested in staying downtown, Binions has $19 per night rooms. But again, you get what you pay for.
Try Expedia.com or Hotels.com and look at some of the amenities each place has. You can also try the casino's own website for exclusive internet only deals that they have.
