Hero: $~650
Villain: asian gambloor who calls a lot, doesn't really bet unless he's got something. ~$1500
Preflop: terrible player makes it $15 and villain calls.
Hero raises to $50 in the SB w/A A
Terrible player folds and villain calls.
Flop($115): A 10 9
I check, villain checks.
Turn: J
I bet $50, villain calls.
I look to bet/call any card as long it isn't a king or club.
River: ($215) K
I check, villain bets $60.
I fold aces face up.

I don't check teh three club flop. You have to make a reasonable bet to see what the guy is up to and also to charge him for trying to draw at you. There is a small possibility that he made a flush on the flop, but I doubt it. More likely he picked up a straight draw on the turn to go along with the flush draw. It is very possible that if you had bet aggressively off the flop that you would have pushed him off of his draw. You have to bet your trips when 3 of a suit flop... if you don't one of two things usually happens: someone draws a better hand and you fold, or you end up costing yourself much more money than you would have had you bet out after the flop. I have learned that lesson the hard way.

Yep. I would probably bet about $100 after the flop. If he doesnt have anything... or even a str8 draw, he would have to figure you for some kind of strong hand. Maybe even a bit bigger bet than that. The turn and river really crushed you though.

My line was donkey.
It should've gone pot, and then pot/push the turn.
UGH. . . at least i made the fold on the river.
