Dynamic play works down the street in Gary. Come join me at Trump, gentlemen. Look around the 3/6 tables and find the biggest stack.

If you ever find me at a 3/6 table at Trump...where truly the LOONS do rule the roost...just take me out and shoot me.
There is no way any human being with an IQ higher than his age can hang on to a stack in those insane games. I refuse to believe that you are the exception.

Okay - I've started tracking my 3/6 play at Trump, the only game I touch on a regular basis:
5/7 - Trump - $100 buyin; $484 cashout - 7 hours
5/8 - Trump - $140 buyin; $280 cashout - 13 hours
5/13- Trump - $100 buyin; $614 cashout - 7 hours
5/14- Trump - $200 buyin; $402 cashout - 8 hours
5/15- Trump - $200 buyin; $0 cashout - 5 hours
5 sessions, 4 of them winning sessions - $1,028 profit - 40 hours of "work" - yesterday's session was killer as none of my overpairs survived (eg Aces cracked the 3 times I had them). Alas, the downside of the loose money, 3/6 tables.

That's so absolutely amazing you must forgive me if I find it close to incredible. I'm not saying it didn't happen.
But you are telling me that for 40 hours of play you are averaging over $50/hr. That's in excess of 8 times the high bet/hour. There isn't a poker writer or theorist on the planet that will tell anyone that you are experiencing a normal, reproducable level of expectation. I am wondering what you could know that the rest of us find completely inaccessible. I am also wondering why you don't, at the very least, take your $1000 and see if you can go t 6/12 or 10/20 and begin making $100 or $160 per hour. Because you are either the best goddam hold'em player in the midwest or you are the luckiest.
Either way you are wasting time and money at 3/6.

Actually, it's slightly over $25/hour profit
And see my other post regarding "Help" on how to build my bankroll ... the gf gets in the way!
And I think you can reproduce it, given the right set of circumstances. Yes - I did have some monsters, but most of my pots were consistently $40 - $80 pots, which I find fairly common at a typical 3/6. The kill pot aspect also helps, especially if you have a run of cards AND know how to press your kill.

yep, last time I checked 40 X 25 did equal a thousand. I ought to check more often. Puts your achievement back into the earth's atmosphere at least...makes it only mildly statospheric. I will contnd that if you talk to me after 500 hours instead of 40 that you will be at $12-$15: still an impressive rate at that completely off the wall 3/6 game, to be sure.
