AA vs pocket 10s

Posted Thu May 05, 2005 2:43 pm GMT by titans4ever
I was in a 1/2 cash game with just 3 of us left.

Player A raises to $5, Player B re-raises to $10, I fold, Player A goes all- in at $35. Player B calls after thinking for awhile.

Player A : A A
Player B: 10 10

Flop: 9 10 10

to go from 9:1 odds of winning to needing runner, runner.
Sorry, no runner/runner for the comeback, was drawing dead after the turn.

We finished the night on that hand.

Overpair against underpair is about 4:1.

Just quibbling.

I thought is was 5.5:1 or there abouts. Where's Snoggins when you need him?

I get 4.4:1 when they share suits, e.g. ASpade AHeart and TSpade THeart. I get 4:1 when they split suits, e.g. ASpade AHeart , TDiamond TClub

It appears I've been out-quibbled once again. At least I was out-quibbled by one of the best.
