Needless to say I wasn't very confident after the flop. I think I probly should've raised higher before the flop (especially in hindsight). I bet very small on the flop just to see what would happen, and then on the turn it seemed like they weren't too strong so I just went all in and luckily won.

My questions are if you think I got lucky that I won this hand and probly will lose to 2 pair/set most of the time. And how I should have played the flop and turn whether it be to check and fold or whatever. Thanks for any replies.

You did ok preflop. It was the small bet ON the flop that I thought was odd. You raised $2 pre-flop but only $1 on the flop. You won't scare anyone off that way. Obviously it worked out well in the end.

Wow, PartyPoker really is full of morons.

Pre-flop, I'd say your raise was ok, although obviously you didn't get the result you wanted. Sometimes on these tables you've got to really pound it to get people out. The guy who let you down was the early position guy with the kings - a good player makes a big raise when it comes back around to him and that probably would have gotten you heads up.

I think after the flop you played it ok, given that you were playing with morons. You could have gotten burned on the all-in bet on the turn, but it worked out. If this is indicative of the quality of play, you'd better get used to wild swings.

I'm amazed at how poorly this hand was played.

I had a really long post about four betting LP's min-raise and how i like to play big pairs OOP w/100BBs. But then this hand was so unorthodox that I couldn't really come up w/anything cohesive.

To answer your question, more likely than not your aces will get cracked by J-10 or a set of sixes.

You need bet at least 2/3 of the pot on the flop. This should get you much more information. I underbet the flop about 0% of the time.

Things that make this hand unorthodox:

(1) Kings missed a perfect opportunity to limp reraise preflop.
(2) Aces underbets the flop after raising preflop.
(3) Top pair three bets the minimum while clearly behind.
(4) The check raise all-in on an basically unimproved turn.
(5) the all-in calls by the other two who are clearly beat.

welcome to the forums and keep posting hand histories.
