1-2NL main game

Hero: $~950
CO: covered by a mile, thinking player but doesn't get out of line.
BB: $500, calls way too much behind and out of position.

Hero: opens UTG to $12 w/ 5 Diamond 7 Club
take it four to the flop.

Flop ($50): K Spade 5 Spade 5 Club
BB checks, Hero bets $30, fold, fold. BB calls.

Turn ($110): A Diamond
BB checks, i take my time looking like the ace scared me. Bet $100, BB calls. What the hell does BB have?

River ($310): Q Club

BB checks, I bet $100. BB folds. would he really call pot-sized bets OOP w/a flush draw? BTW, i bet $200 here w/any two cards here after BB's flop and turn calls.

I think you have to put him on a draw here. People get attached to those suited cards an hope to spike. It's that "If only" mentality. Those people are generally your best friends tho since they only hit 1/3.

That was quite a nice flop for you tho and it would be nearly impossible to put you on a hand that has a 5 after that raise. You could easily bust a strong hand here.
