
7 Card Stud Games - Ante Required? |

I think you have to post an ante in 7-card stud games... however, I can't find anywhere in Roberts Rules that indicate this. What makes me wonder if it's not a "rule" is that Roberts Rules DOES make mention of how players "must" post an ante in draw games. I'm thinking that since it specificly refers to how players must ante in draw games, that it's not simply a mistaken omission with respect to the 7-stud games and, perhaps, whether or not there's an ante is up to the house.
Anyone know the official rule on this? Is an ante required in 7-stud games?
