
Multiple KO's in a Freezeout - Deciding Finishing position |

According to Roberts Rules if more than one person is eliminated on a hand then position is decided by who had the most chips.
Is this the way it is done in all tournaments then? I find it odd that the hand strength doesn't seem to play a part in the decision at all.

There is no 2nd place hand in poker. Starting chip amount before the hand determines the winner.
