The story will air Monday night May 23rd at 11pm on CBS, Channel 2 Los Angeles.

probably this game will get busted next, if people keep playing in it despite the shadyness:
a few words of advice on the PCS homegame:
1. If you post something on the message board that conflicts with the director's ideas your posts will be deleted and your user id will be deleted as well!
2. It has been confirmed that on top of the 10% being taken for the championship pot there is also a 5% rake taken for the house.
3. On more than one occasion the tournament director has given himself MORE chips than entitled to during rebuys. Additionally the tournament director has been seen snagging chips from his neighbor at the table when they got up to go to the restroom.
Other than that it is a great game. Plenty of good players, much better than me. And plenty of fishes (like me) donating to the prize pool.

how come you didn't confront john while this happened?? why now?? why not in person when everyone was there? i mean, if you catch someone cheating at a casino, wouldn't you bring it up?? why didn't you bring it up at the pcs?? we were all there, nothing would've happened. you played there 3 times as i recall, and what times did you actually see this??
i just don't know why you didnt say something while you had the chance. now you don't have any evidence or anything to actually give us proof. i'm not saying you are wrong, but i'm saying you are right.

Why would the supposed "source" still play there if the host is cheating? I knew about the 5% all along, thought it was common knowledge. I understand not playing because of this. Accusing the host of cheating is what I think is just plain out of line. If you haven't seen it for youself and the guy that claims to have seen it is still playing there, I assume it's not true.
If you don't like game, nobody is forcing you to play in it. Plus you busting out early most nights wasn't likely to be because of any cheating.

Knowing john, he isn't fake when it comes to showing if he likes someone or not ,but he isnt rude at the same time. I'm sure he has had a few encounters with a few players that played at the pcs before. Did you ever think that the person who told you this could be lying?? i never said that i suffered because of the cheating. In fact I even said its a good game and that i have been donating money. whether or not the player that witnessed the cheating plays there or not is not relevent. i am just reporting what i was told by a reputable source.
ps. john banned me from the pcs message board, so you will not see me posting there.

for the record the person did tell john that he had grabbed too many chips on more than one occasion.

that is my whole point in posting this! make players aware. The cheating MAY have been a few isolated incidents. And maybe it hasn't happened in a long time now, but the point is that it did happen.
also, the other element to discuss here is the fact that there is an unjustified (and also illegal) rake.

that is actually not true.
some people where unaware of the rake.
in fact the proper etiquette when you run a game is to make all the players aware of what is happening with the money.
its no a big deal if john were to freeroll and not take a rake as long as he said so in the beginning of the tourney to everyone that it was such.

john dosent freeroll and take out the rake. He puts in his money, for the buy in, rebuys and add ons. then after all the money is collected. he takes out 5% of the pool. whichs comes out to be 35-45 dollars.
so he does pay for the initial buy in. because if he didn't, i think that would be too much to his advantage

None of this changes the fact that 95% of the people on that website look like a bunch of posers. Playing poker for chump change and trying to act like you're on the professional circuit and people cheating on top of that. What a joke.

I have never cheated. Its possible that I have given myself or others more chips by accident. But I always ask people to count my chips and others chips when I give them out. With 15 rebuys a night, times over 40 tournaments, that can happen at times. But I have never attempted to cheat. To try to ruin the reputation of my game, because of one person's anonymous comments is ridiculous. If you start to get a few more, than give it some more thought.

i personally in no way am meaning to advertise the game.
i just want to warn those that are unsuspecting of what they may be getting themselves into.
basically just a community service to the poker community.
