So I'm playing in one of the Bodog guaranteed WSOP seat tournies (12.5k). 450 people registered and im at final table. Im kinda edgey due to this and I become short stacked.
Big blinds are at 12k and i have 24 im SB, noone calls BB so I go all in with Q 10o. BB Calls after a while of thinking with 57o. Flop comes rag rag 7, turn is a 10, river is a 5. He wins on 2 pair. I finish 5th and unhappy. Im just curious as to if this guy made a good call based on my short stack or if it was just plain stupid.

You have 2 big blinds left? If all you did was double the blind with your all-in the BB getting 3:1 on his call and was correct to call with just about any two. But you weren't in the wrong for pushing with Q T, you've gotta do something soon and Q T is slightly ahead of a random hand, which is what you face.

That's an easy call on his part. Hell, calling with 23o is probably profitable in the BB there.
My question to you is: how the hell did you end up with 2xBB?

My question is, you made it to the final table and were a heartbeat away from the WSOP and didnt know that was a decent call?

Er, my original post was flawed and kinda left some info out. I don't know why I originally typed 24 but it was around 48 after my SB. The BB that called had less than double my stack.
