2/4 FL on party
Preflop: KK in the BB, UTG maniac raises, three callers I 3-bet, UTG maniac caps.
Flop: 6 6 5 rainbow. MP bets, next guy calls, I raise, UTG 3-bets, 1 fold, 1 call, I call.
Turn: 3 still a rainbow board. UTG bets other guy folds, I raise, UTG calls.
River 5: He checks, I bet, he raises, I call.
Showdown: You guessed it, he had Q6s.
I know I was behind on every street (except preflop), is it still a "bad beat"?

Considering you were an 80% favourite pre-flop it is a tough break. But I wouldn't say it was a bad beat (Personally I don't believe in bad beats based on pre-flop odds).
He got lucky. If he he caps preflop with Q6 he shouldnt be keeping those money for long.

I would slow down after he raises me on the turn. Any six beats you - Once he starts raising, you can't put him on that?

A true 2/4 Maniac could have anything in his hand. Hell I've seen this type of thing with AQ before.

Sure, so you check and call him down. I wouldn't be giving up the big bets (Turn & River).

I think that I play the hand exactly the same except that I think I check behind on the turn. I think as a maniac he might have a 5 here, and even maniacs get AA every now and then. I mean besides that pre-flop cap, this guy outplayed everyone on the hand, I think on the turn he read you as having an overpair and knew he could get a check-raise in on the river. When I play maniacs I tend to get real suspicious and might check/call hands on the river I otherwise wouldn't against more reasonable players.
