I was playing at the Winstar Casino Sat. night in Oklahoma. Lou Diamond Phillips walks in and gets in on the 5/10 table next to mine. I heard he was trying to bully people around, lol Wink Anyways, it made the night pretty interesting.

I once met Tugay Kerimogliou (you won't know him unless you support rangers, Blackburn Rovers or Turkey) in the Gala Riverboat Casino in Glasgow.

He has a stack of £25 chips in his left hand which went all the way up to the crook of his elbow, and in his right arm................ a tall gorgeous blond :D

Side question: How was the WinStar poker room? I'm from Dallas so its the closest casino to me (and I'm only 20 so I can't get in anywhere else) but I've heard pretty bad things about their poker room and how poorly it is run. I've been to WinStar a few months ago before the card room opened but have yet to make the trip for poker. Any opinions?

The poker room just opened up, so there are a few "technical glitches" so to speak. First of all, they don't have enough dealers, so the wait can be long on weekend nights. Other than that, I think it's pretty good. There are a few inconsistancies about the house rules though. It seems that they are not consistent from dealer to dealer in that regard. They are moving the poker room into a bigger room I heard. They have 15 tables now and I guessing they will have 10-15 more in the bigger room (where they currently have bingo) They used to open up at 4pm everyday, they are now opening up at noon Fri. - Sun. The poker room closes at 3 am. I like to get there when they open up to get on the early action and try to build my stack throughout the whole day. That way if I have some bad beats early, I have plenty of time to get my money back or go up in money by the time I leave. Good luck and reply back and let me know what you think.
