Mike Madasow taunted the hell out of Raymer ... only to have the majority (if not all? can't remember) of his chips taken by Raymer ... Oh and then Raymer won it all or something.

What a ***ing tool ...

I hope he's the first one out this year Twisted Evil

LOL... and then his little tantrum at the WPT Carribean whatever... "VINDICATION!!!!!!" Laughing

I can't see how he can play anywhere... all you'd have to do is mention "Raymer", "last year's WSOP", "jail", or "cocaine" and he'd be on tilt and no one tilts worse than that guy. Like "Hey, after Raymer won last year's WSOP, didn't you go to jail for a while for cocaine possession?" A cheap trick for sure, but there's always going to be someone at the table who's not above that.

That would have been one of the ESPN episodes of last year's WSOP. Yeah, Raymer won it all or something.

I wonder how many of those players have agents and coaches to keep them in the characters they play (kind of like wrestling).

Matusow is a much better player than people give him creit for, but yes, he is a bit of a jerk. I don't mind his smack talk as much, however, because it's usually needling the other guy rather than berating his play, which is the one thing I can't stand (ala Josh Arieh "what a joke! He calls that bet with 55?"). Matusow's biggest weaknesses are that he self-destructs and ends up risking a LOT of chips with very marginal hands (ie AJs against Paul Philips' 77, or calling 2/3 of his stack vs Raymer when he had only middle pair).

Mike the Motuh kept Telling him..I'm going to bust you out..

I think Raymer had the opened ended straight draw and he pushed..Mike called with a pocket pair (cant recall which one)

Raymer hit his straight..Raymer did turn the knife a bit as Mike was left to his fate.

This what I remember..but I could be wrong..

Matusow had only a pair of 9's (middle pair) against Raymer's flush draw. The diamond hit on the turn, and Raymer yelled, "Yes!" After the dust cleared, he said, "thank you for busting me, Mike." I have no idea why Matusow called with middle pair when it was like 2/3 of his stack. Raymer had 2 overs the 9 as well as the flush draw, so it was basically a toss up. I don't know about you, but I don't risk 2/3 of my stack at that stage of a major tourney when I'm no more than even money.
