This kills me. It's the first frikin hand in a $5 SNG and this guy goes all in after the flop, after I make a sizeable bet. Well I guess I got my information...
Either he's a maniac or I'm busted. Later observations led me to bleive that his play was leaning towards a tight aggresive player. But I had no idea about the guy on this hand.

would have no doubt called him and gone allin

I’d call it.
I think you flop bet was too small and he might have put you on a missed A K and hoped to represent A Q for the steal.
A A-Q Q would probably re-raise on the flop. So I’d think he’s probably got A K-A Ts or an underpair.
Even if he has the Ace overcard and a flush draw I still think I’d call, someone whose better at odds may tell me that’s wrong (please do I’d like to know).
I think the only card that would stop me would be an A on the flop.

Re-raise it preflop dammit. I'd make it 800 after his preflop raise--or just go all-in preflop. I'd probably call this on the flop too.

fold. That queen saved you a lot of money.

I totally agree, I should have re-raised before the flop or folded. If I can’t play hands right because it’s the first round then I should have folded. I know I would have pushed all in pre-flop if this hand had come in a later round. I have done that before in nearly identical situations.

Definite reraise (preflop) and definite all-in on the flop. The bet was overly high preflop for wishing to see action. The overbet on the flop would tell me he has a mid/mid-high pocket pair and is afraid of the queen, or that he missed.

I would call without hesitation, even if it was the very first hand of the WSOP. Then again, I'd have re-raised pre-flop
