It depends, if he was the type of player to try and check-raise with a made flush then definately flush. Otherwise I think something like KJ or 9J isn't out of the question for some loose-passive calling stations either.

I'll let you know the outcome in a sec... just one thing i meant to be in the original post.... did i play this hand well?
I mean was i betting another after the flop/turn to try and push him off?

Preflop is a little too laggy for my tastes...but I am too tight short-handed. Otherwise it is fine...perhaps a slightly larger flop bet. Check behind on the river is good.

Yeah, I don;t know about the pre-flop raise, even QJ at a 6 handed table isn't usually good enough to raise, unless I'm on the button and there is a good chance to pick up the blinds.
Check behind on the river was definately correct.

I'd say he had a pair of nines and just couldn't let them go but couldn't bet with em either.
You gotta love a calling station

Well I had put him on 2 over cards... AQ, KQ or AK.... anywhere here is the rest of the hand history...

Jun 10 17:39:12 : renardarg has Pair: Aces
Jun 10 17:39:12 : renardarg wins $22.09 with Pair: Aces
Jun 10 17:39:21 : Hand is over.
Hmmm... he had the rockets.... Was this well played by him? I certinaly didnt put him on that... but then i never gave him much chance to do anything apprant from call or re-raise me.
I guess i was lucky that a K came on river, because if it was another low card (non-heart) i would probably have thrown our a nother large bet... well i probably would have gone all-in believing i was in front!

He was giving you every chance to catch cards and take his money...Nice guy. Too bad you didn't bet in the river he probably would have given you the pot with out a second thought.
Complement him on his solid play and put him on you buddy list
