Villian is a frequent poster on this forum. He plays primarily limit is on the LAGy side of things. He has a nack for getting knocked out of forum freerolls early. He's been bullying the table since he doubled up on the first hand. And he's been caught with his pants down a few times. We'll call him SeanNJ.
Me--1115 <----the good guy
SeanNJ--2435 <----pure evil
Preflop: blinds 10/20, I get J J on the button. SeanNJ raises to 60, I re-raise to 150, everyone folds to SeanNJ who calls.
Flop: K , 4 , K . SeanNJ checks. I should...?
I ended up butchering this one.
What can I do to keep:
1) From being bluffed? I'm pretty sure I've got a winner, but I'm not going to pay too much to find out.
2) From losing my whole stack in order to keep SeanNJ honest?

I hate betting and I hate checking. Against an aggressive maniac like Sean, you're quite likely to get check-raised on this flop, because he knows you wouldn't bet out a king.
At the same time, I hate to give a free card to Ax or Qx or AQ to outdraw the present best hand.
Bet 200, call a check min. raise, and fold to an all in if he pulls the trigger. As aggressive as Sean is, he's not stupid.

I managed to find the hand history for this one, and my stack was 2435 at the time. Just wanted to clarify.

Stupidity takes many forms.

I don't follow this logic. If I bet he knows I have a king so he's going to check-raise me?

I think you try to get a cheap showdown out of this one. If he has AQ you are still %75 to win after the flop. I say you bet about half the pot on the flop, now, since you said that Sean had just been caught "with his pants down," you are really hoping that he just folds the flop and decides to bluff another pot. If he check-raises, well, then its up to you, but I probably fold. Hopefully you can bet the flop and then I would check behind on the turn if he calls and checks the flop. I guess what I am rambling on about is that cheap showdown = what I would do, how you accomplish that is player dependent and situation dependent.
So...in conclusion: it all depends.

Suited.... because if you bet, Sean knows you don't have a King.... that leaves mostly marginal/vulnerable hands that you can be holding. Something along the lines of an underpair, AQ, AJs. Therefore, since he knows you're not crazy about the hand, if he puts in a strong check-raise against you, you're trapped.
Since he knows you have a marginal or vulnerable hand by betting, it will probably be pretty easy for him to push you around, especially since he has you covered.

I don't think that's necessarily true. The fastplay is the new slowplay, after all, and I believe that he could be that tricky.

Wow, weird, I had nearly this exact situation happen last night - high pair on the board, holding a decent underpair, outchipped... I pushed because I felt pot committed, I had a good chance of taking it there if he didn't have the king, late in the game and needed to make some moves, etc. etc. LOL.
Aaannd of course he had AK this time. Had I more chips, I probably would have bet less and been prepared to let it go as gol4 suggested.
Hard to think of any other moves... does anyone fold to any bet? I didn't think so... Min bet trying to look like you want a call? Naaah. It's a tough one.

You know no-one ever wins with Jacks in the hole!!!
I guess i would check it too... then depending on his bet size after the turn (if he bets at all), and depending what comes on the turn, i would have to see what i would do then... difficult situation...
i just wouldnt want to blow my stack in this situation...
