Erik Seidel wins his 7th Bracelet!!! Facing a huge chip deficit, the two big names on the table, Erik Seidel and Cyndey Violette battled into spots 1 and 2, respectively. This should be truly great to watch on TV, and I'm glad Seidel will finally get his TV day in the sun, since to this date he's primarily known for being outplayed by Johnny Chan in 1988 (which has been immortalized in Rounders). Cyndey Violette is another very good player, and it will be good to see her on TV again.

Too bad he won the way he did.
Violette got all of her money in REAL good.
I don't remember who raised initially, all I remember reading was the Seidel raised, Violette pushed all-in, Seidel contemplated and then called with 8-8. Violette turned over 9-9 and Seidel hit that 8 for the bracelet.
