I almost felt bad about this one.... almost.
Posted Tue Jun 14, 2005 9:44 am GMT by Soup_dog This hand started as a blind steal by me. I was playing .5/1 NL at UB. I was dealt 5 6 in LP. I raised the pot to $3 and both of the blinds called. Ooops.
The flop came:
8 A 7 . Interesting.
I bet $5 because I am still on a draw but maybe I can sweeten the pot or even drive them out. They both call.
The turn: 4 . Sweet. There is my money card. I bet $15 hoping I get a call. They BOTH raise all in for a total of about $50 each in the pot! I call.
The river is a 3 which gives me a scare because it actually gives me a small flush. (I would rather have had the nuts straight.) Luckily the flush held up and pulled me in $150.
One guy had Ax and the other had K 4 . (I still have no clue what he was doing in the pot!)
