I'm playing $25 NL HE last night. I'm at a very (and I mean very) loose table. I'm on the button and get dealt 9c9s. Everyone stays in so I raise to $1 pre-flop so I don't have some schmo with nothing stay in and outdraw me if I flop my set. Only 4 others stay in. The flop comes off 9h Ah Kh. Great! I finally flop a set and now there's a flush out there. There's a raise of $5 from the first to bet. Everyone folds except for one person. I fold because I'm not willing to bet that he doesn't have the flush. The turn is a rag and the river is 2h. The idiot who raised $5 had A-K off. The other idiot who called, stayed in with 7h 3c and won! Firstly, I can't believe that anyone would stay in for a pre-flop raise with a 7-3 off. Anyway, next hand is dealt. I get QhQd. I pre-flop $3 this time (I learned my lesson from the last hand). Everyone folds except for the same two idiots. I'm thinking that's great! The flop comes off Qc 5c Ac. Oh no! Not again!! I'm behind the button. It checks to me. I raise $5. Idiot #1 calls it and the other moron folds. The turn is 4c. Now I know I'm screwed because all he has to have is a club. He raises $10 and I have to fold another set. Grrrrr! Just wanted to vent. Sometimes I swear PartyPoker is fixed.

I played my very first ring games at PartyPoker last evening (played for 3 and a half months at PokerStars) and I nearly fell off my chair when I saw what people were actually calling with. They are so loose that I couldn't believe my eyes.

There was like KQJ9x on the board and they were still betting and calling...and guess what, noone even holds a T. With a board like that on pokerstars, 1 bet and everyone folds in an eye blink.

I made like $62 playing 0.5/1 fixed in 2 hours. Those loose tables are really good but it can kill you as they literally call with anything and might get 2 pairs with 72o and so on.

Anyway I will of course play it again tonight and if I get consistant "huge" wins (I think $62 is pretty big for 0.5/1 fixed) like that I will just stop playing at pokerstars as the game is so tight.
