Was wondering if anybody watched this Saturday night. Very interesting tournament were most of the players were just ordinary players who had won the tournaments on UB. Unfortunately the sole professional player in the tourney won it, guess this doesn't say alot for us part time players LOL.
I was most impressed with the poker tip given by Phil Helmuth on there. He did a little segment on patience in poker. The affected me quiet a bit because this just happens to be a philisophy I have started developing about poker. There is so much talk about agressivness being one of the keys to poker, but I personally believe that there is a time for agressivness in poker, but it's not all the time. The key is to have the patience to wait until the proper hand comes along to be agressive with.
Anyway, I didn't see any posts about the UB show, and thought I would mention it.

Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

I like the fox sports poker coverage. They do some of the best work with formatting the minicams and supers for the screen, and they have a pretty high overall production value, with a slant towards players rather then non-players in the audience. They also don't explain the rules of holdem quite as often as travel. They don't get enough love.

I saw it as well, I agree with Johny, FS does a very good job with the commentators. Some other formats tend to be less aesthetically pleasing and poker fan friendly.
