i was playing in a tourney, 10$ buy in, and i mustve gotten 15 solid hands all game. however, after terrible flops, i ended up only winning half of those hands. how do u play like this? also, if u are playing my style of play, which is tight aggressive, what hands should u play? should u fold hands like q 10?
thanks for the help

When you get down to 6 or 7BB you have to pick a hand and push preflop. Ax or any pocket pair is a good bet. If you wait 'til you've got 4BB to double up you're going to double up and still be shortstacked.

Well said. And with 6-7x BB you actually have a little pushing power too.
Also if you are comfortable bluffing, I would suggest starting to bluff earlier in the tourney, esp in late position. Gauge the players a little and try to notice who you can lean on. Don't do it too often though.
