I was short stacked here, and I saw this as a way to increse my stack. I had a flush draw on the flop, so I was hoping for anopther diamond. IT didn't work out for me. Should I have expected him to have two pair?

You were shortstack and had a draw - you'll hit it about 1 in 3 times by the river. Not a horrible move ...
His two pair didn't really matter. All he needed was either pair. I would have called him for top pair.

I don't see this flop with 93s.

Normally I wouldn't call on this hand but after the flop I would probably have gone for the flush. When your short stacked u have to take chances.

Don't like playing 93s when you're short-stacked... wait for high cards and then push. I also don't like going in with draws only, but as was said, short-stacked you have to take chances.

Same here - You had to call 10% of your stack with that 93s trash.

Agree with poster above, ring game maybe you complete the SB but in a tourney where you are shortstacked, you have to pick 1 hand and put it all in pre-flop, or half in pre-flop and the rest on the flop.
Granted, barring the pre-flop call, I would just move all-in on the flop because this is as good a chance as ever with the dead money in the pot.

not only that, you are pushing with 93, hoping for a diamond, but you were playing against the big stack, and he was likely to call you with middle pair or worse, so you had to improve to win
toss the 93, put it all in before the flop on the next orbit

I look at it that the blinds were gone past since you were in the SB. I really think you should have folded preflop when you saw two callers ahead of you and waited for a stronger hand. Post flop, even though you had four diamonds, I would have folded to the two overcards as well.
