I searched around a bit, and couldn't find an answer to my question.
There ended up being a straight showing on the table.
5 6 7 8 9
It ended up being the best possible hand. No one had a pair, flush, or a 4 or a 10.
Is this an instance where you would split the pot?

Yeah it would be a split if no one has the 10. The 4 wouldn't matter because it would give you the ass end of the str8 but it wouldn't matter anyway because it is the best possible 5 cards so it wouldn't matter if you could add on to the low part.
