Now I'm not saying this was the best read ever, and I really didn't play it that well in all honestly but I actually made a reasonable read which I am somewhat proud of. And this can be a place to talk about all of the great reads you OTHER guys have made...
Ok, I start at the 50-100 limit table with 4200 in chips. I am probably not strategically ready for this limit but it turned out well somehow. I lose a couple of pots, a big one where I made trip jacks on the turn and a guy made a flush on the river. It was runner-runner, so it hurt, but I didn't bet on the flop so...ugh. Anyway, it starts off bad but I manage to work my way from 1100 back up to 4000...whew. On one hand I notice an opponent from the button, who is a decent player, raises from the button on an unraised pot from the turn to the river and has NOTHING. I bookmark this.
So I'm in the SB with 102o, I limp because a couple of others did, so the pot odds must be somewhat sufficient. The flop comes 10, X, Q with the Q and 10 being clubs. I check and it gets checked around, the Ace of clubs comes on the turn and I check again...it gets checked to the same player before on the button and I realize he would have raised with a four-flush most likely, and definitely with an ace...and I had remembered one of his betting patterns so I called. (I know realize the correct play would be to raise), unfortunately another caller behind stays it. I put him on a straight or flush draw too. The river comes a blank I check, the other guy checks, the button bets I call and he flips J2. I had actually outplayed my opponent, which I do not do ALL that much, so I was somewhat satisfied. I went on to turn my stack into 9800.
I hope you do not think I am just tooting my horn, I just wanted someone to evaluate my play, I am kinda bored, and I like hearing about other good plays so I would like others to post.
Thank you,
PV

Nice read
Unless your Doyle Brunson, don't call with 10,2 offsuit in the sb, even with many limpers. Like you already know, a raise would have been correct on the turn. Otherwise, nice job!
I was playing a 10 person tournament with my friends, ( no limit hold'em) that payed first place 100 %. I was heads up against a good player. Very aggressive and bluffs consistently. I had taken the chip lead from him when I put him on a bluff and re-bluffed him all in ( and showed the bluff.) The last hand I had 6,6 in the big blind. He calls the small blind, but he does so in a very strange way. He adds a little extra emphasis with a sigh. I put him on either K,K or A,K. For some reason I felt he would raise with A,A. I checked because I knew he would re-raise me all in. The flop came 6,9,A with two clubs. I made a very strange play by pushing all in, for two reason: 1) I wasnt about to let a flush draw beat me and 2) I thought he would call with K,K or A,K. He called with Q,Q and it was over
