My wife or I regularly crush a low stakes home game that we play in. I just wanted to relate a hand last night that turned out ugly. Neither of us was directly involved.
7 people left from a starting field of 10. 1 tall stack, 1 medium and 1 short end up taking the flop. The SS in the SB goes allin preflop for ~2.5x BB and is called by the BB (tall stack) and a medium stack. The flop comes T98 of spades. Check, check. The turn comes the T of diamonds. I hear an audible gasp from the allin SS, the BB says "all-in" and the medium stack immediately calls. Everyone flips over their cards. And we see the SB with quad Ts, the BB with the A high spade flush (+ a st8 flush draw with the 7 of spades) and the other player with a FH, 8s over Ts. The straight flush didn't come. This was probably the highest spread of hands I've seen live.
