just wanted to make sure i made the right call last night there i was just foolin around with a frend (weren't really playing for anything... just dealing cards).
when two players have two pair... does the highest single pair take the pot? i had A's and 7's, she had K's and J's. in this case we were each using both of our hole cards to make the two pair.
i wasn't certain but was fairly confident that the highest single pair in a two pair hand takes the pot. am i wrong? is it split? if it's split, i'm assuming that if we werent using both out hole cards in our pairs that a kicker would comt into play...

The A's and 7's beat the K's and J's. You were right.
