A couple nights ago I played poker with my friend. We've been playing a while some most people know what they are doing.
Well, an hour or two into to the night I look down at KK. I raise about 7xBB(bb is 10 cents). My friend reraised me another 60 cents. Well, this guy usually tries to buy pots, so I called.
The flop comes A K 2. He checks to me and I bet 75. He calls. Turn comes a 7. This time he bets 50. I raise him a buck, he calls. River comes a 2. He goes all in (I have him covered). At this point, my friend comments about folding a 2. So now only AA can beat me in this hand.
And I call, he he has AA.
Now what are the odds that we both have AA and KK and we both hit our ace and our king on the flop?

if you have KK the odds of him having AA are 1 in 24
the odds of you hitting your set is 10%
the odds of him hitting hit set is 10%
.1 * .1 * 1/24 = .0042 %
set over set by itself is 1% chance
