Player A has a pocket 5, J.
Player B has a pocket 8, K.

The flop is 5, J, K.

The turn card is a 2.

The river card is a 2.

So now the community cards are 5, J, K, 2, 2.

Which player has the winning hand?

Player B has the winning hand.

After all 5 community cards are out, their hands are as follows:

Player A--J J 5 5 K two pair J's and 5's with a K

Player B--K K 2 2 J two pair K's and 2's with a J

Player A flopped two pair, but once the board paired the 2's, player B ended up with the better two pair.

Unless A made a flush and B did not. In absence of suits in your post, Oldgzer's right on.

I lost two SnG's earlier for this very reason. Twice I flopped two pair with rag cards from BB, and twice the board paired to give the other player a higher two pair.

It sucks, but that's poker.
