Played for 7 hours, broke dead even after languishing down about $30 most of the night.
I play in a biweekly 2/4 limit home game.
Funny thing is that the guy who is known as the fish ended up winning well over $150 last night. This is a guy who will call to the showdown with middle pair or even high card A. But last night was HIS night. He was pulling everything possible. I played until 4am (about 7 hrs) and it was all I could do to break even. I usually bring in about 50 on this table, so this was a major swing. This guy, who I mentioned, has NEVER left the table up ANYTHING.
You could say that he is getting better after a year or so of us taking 100 off of him every other week, but last night he caught everything he chased.

mabey it was his night to get lucky. SOmetimes i play terriable and get good cards in the nic of time and end up winning

Remember that the fish getting lucky is why they keep playing. It's how the poker gods get them addicted so that they'll pay you off in the long run. It sucks to go through, but no one would keep playing if they lost all the time.. those few wins are what keep them coming back.
