interesting play

I played on Sunday from 8 to 5am at the casino. Started at 3/6, did nothing for 2 hours, moved to 4/8 and made 300 real quick. Went flat for an hour and then moved to 6/12.

At 6/12-here is what I ran into. The table had 7-8 players. The guy to my left was EXTREMELY aggressive. If anyone raised, he would 3 bet, if you reraised, he would cap. EVERY time, often w/ 3 7 or the like. One guy would consistantly go after this guy and quickly end up heads up and someone would end up winning a $200 pot w/ a bottom pair, river pair or Q high. This guy was always reraising and rarely folded, even w/ nothing. His stack would go from $800 to $300 every 10 hands or so (the guy that would always go against him was getting crushed!).

Anyway, I ended up making a little here-$75 in 3 hours, but it was fun to watch. The aggressive guy beat me once bad w/ quad 4s when I had the top 2 pair. I also folded KK after capping preflop. One other guy stayed in the hand and I folded on the turn after I was raised. The guy that stayed in was a tight playing older Asian dude w/ a monster stack and A 3 4 was flopped. A pair of 4s won the $250 pot....OUCH!

The tough part is this guy didnt mess w/ me too much-so it was tough to get any big pots off of him heads up. But w/ multiple callers, I took down some huge pots by just calling w/ a monster hand until the river and letting others go at each other.

It was some wild action. Anyone else run into players like this? How did you do? I was disappointed to find myself getting more loose, but with monster pots being capped preflop w/ hands like A 7 suited against 9 10, it got harder and harder to muck k 9 suited.

Before I cast my opinion I am in no way any pro, havent even been to a casino or played out of a home game.

Anyhow, I think you found the best table. Like they say if you are angry and you play you will definitially start loosing because of grudge. Therefore, if you are in a pot with two guy's going at it and you have the nutz, just call whatever their doing. I would wait till 5th street and if your last action ( hopefully ) After they probably, raise-re-raise you might wana do a little raising just to shock them. Once you throw down your cards heat will likely fire up on you from them, and lesser how it was, so reaising on 5th street may not be a good idea but calling seems like you were just watching the war not fighting it as they were.

If I was there I think I would watch tables that looked like it had some tension in it, and find the table that has the most grudge hatered on. Just sit down and dont say ANYTHING dont even laugh wheneveer once else does, you dont want to get something sparked with another player because then someone will be taken advantage of you! So, anyhow just make sure you've got the nutz if you would to do this ( which looks like you probably will from how these two were playing ) and just take em to the bank. Try to give your self less attention as possible ( I.E try not to make long decision's having players watch you for tells etc, try not to just make your self noticable in the hand ) because, you dont want the other two or four how many other to stop focusing on their nemesis and relasize. ' Hey, wait a sec why is this guy still in the hand?'

Goodluck, you did well!
