I absorbed the worst beat in my poker career last night.
Early in a $13 6 player NL SNG on Bodog I'm dealt JJ. Blinds are 5/10. I make it 50 and get one caller.
Flop: Q J 2 rainbow.
Nice flopped a set! Villain (henceforth known as nimrod) bets 100. I raise to 200. Nimrod thinks for a moment and pushes all in. It's too early to have much information on this guy, but I'm pretty confident he doesn't have QQ (didn't raise, plays every hand). Perhaps QJ or straight draw. We have about the same amount of chips. I call.
Nimrod flips over Q6.
