This one left me numb.

$30 live NL tournament w/ 40 players. 1000 chips and starting blinds are 5/10. About the 14th hand into the tournament I am on the button.

I am dealt 6 Heart 6 Club . 2 players limp and I limp as well giving us 5 players to see the flop with no raises.

The flop comes
10 Diamond 6 Diamond 10 Spade . Wow! Full House!

SB checks. BB checks. 2 limpers check. (I don't usually like to slowplay, but this hand is so strong I really want someone to try and make a hand.) I check.

The turn is 2 Spade . SB bets 30. BB calls. 2 limpers fold. I smooth call.

The river is 7 Spade . SB bets 70. BB raises to 110. I raise to 300.
The SB pushes all in. BB goes in the tank but eventually folds.

I call. He flips over pocket 10s and makes me the first player knocked out of the tourny. I think this is probably one of the harshest beats I have experienced yet.

I think I would have been more cut up if he flipped over pocket 7’s Rolling Eyes
