I just thought I'd put this one up after screwing it up.
Hero: $500
Villain: $600 (bad calling station)
I open to $15 w/4 6 , villain calls on the button. blinds fold.
Flop: 10 4 3 ($30)
I bet $20, he calls.
Turn: 9
check, check.
River:A
check, villain bets $25. I call for info.
The point was, w/that board OOP, betting the flop with a mediocre hand put me in a spot where I didn't know where i was. I didn't know if villain had air, top pair, higher pocket pair, flush draw, or sharing a four. Checking that drawy board against a calling station who bets their one pair hands makes this hand easier to play.
